Description
Not every Christmas visitor brings presents. In European winter folklore, Krampus is the horned companion of Saint Nicholas, and this figure keeps him in character: a wicked grin, bright red eyes, curled horns and a shaggy beard.
A woven basket rides on his back and a bundle of birch twigs is held ready in one hand. A red coat with a buckled belt, pink skin, tan twigs and deep brown fur, cuffs and hooves keep every detail clear, whether seen from across the room or up close.
The figure stands about 18 cm high and arrives fully assembled, with no stand, lights or batteries. It suits a mantelpiece, bookshelf, sideboard, desk or a darker Christmas display. Made to order in the UK and finished by hand; fine layer lines are part of the process.
