Description
A hard-working hauler with a soft spot for greenery. This red lorry swaps its cargo for compost: the open tipper trailer is the pot, sized for a small succulent, cactus, herb or a few faux stems on a windowsill, desk or shelf.
The detail is sculpted rather than flat: a chunky chrome-look grille and bumpers, twin exhaust stacks, copper-tone mirrors, sky-blue windows and four wheels. It is made to order in the UK from 14 separate parts, assembled and finished by hand, in a matte finish of red, grey, brown, sky blue and copper-tone. Fine layer lines are part of its character.
Compact in scale, it suits small plants rather than large pots. For live plants in moist soil, a small inner pot or liner will protect the planter. Plant, soil and styling props are not included.
